As more exhibitors sign up for FRIGAIR 2021, Ilana Koegelenberg chats to some of them to find out why they are returning for another show.

“We found it beneficial to exhibit at the last FRIGAIR Expo as we were able to showcase our new range of products. As market leaders in the dehumidification industry, it is important to be visible in the marketplace. It was great to meet with our current clients and to connect with new potential clients from South Africa and the surrounding countries too.” – Willie van Rensburg (SMAC Enterprises).

“We did our first show in 2015, at a time when fabric ducting was not very well known, and the clientele were a bit sceptical to try a new and unknown product. Because we exhibited in 2015, we thought it would be conspicuous if we didn’t exhibit in 2018. We found that the product was very well received in 2018, more so than previously, and we generated a lot more interest, enquiries and projects from the show. The clientele showed a lot more confidence in fabric and were better educated about the product than before, it was very well received.

“We signed up again for 2021 because, again, if you do not exhibit, people will start wondering what has happened to the product and the company. In addition to that, we feel that the market out there for fabric has barely scraped the surface and there is still a lot of work out there for fabric installations. The more people we can reach and educate about fabric, the more successful we will be in our business.” – Dave Mitchell (FabricAir SA).

FRIGAIR 2021 takes place 9-11 June 2021 at Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand, Johannesburg.

“We found the FRIGAIR 2018 show very beneficial. The numbers through the door exceeded our expectations and we found that the right people were coming. We think it is a great platform to catch up with clients who we have not seen for a while as well as meet new prospects. The show itself is well run and the organisers put a great deal of effort into making sure it runs smoothly.” – Murray Anderson (Elta Group / AMS).

“The 2018 FRIGAIR was by far the most successful exhibition we’ve been a part of in recent years. We had a great response to our stand and many interested parties visiting us, resulting in a good number of qualified leads. The show was professionally organised and drew the right visitors for our target audience. As such it was an absolute no-brainer for us to commit to FRIGAIR 2021 as soon as space booking became available.” – Torsten Harms (Testo South Africa).

“The show provides us a platform to present and demonstrate our capabilities as well as introduce new technologies in an interactive environment. We are looking forward to introducing our Internet of Things (IoT) Edge controllers for fan coil units, air handling units and metering that has been designed and manufactured in South Africa as well as a complete range of building management system (BMS) products and field devices. Our IoT Edge controllers are currently in the process of CE approval.” – Ivan Potter (iLED).

“We got a lot of brand exposure from the last FRIGAIR show and met some amazing people. We signed up again as we believe that it is important for the market leaders to be present to show changes and new technology to the consumers.” – Gerald Langley (Fuchs Lubricants).

“FRIGAIR is a great way to meet new customers, meet up with existing customers and showcase our full range of anti-vibration products and capabilities. I look forward to the next show.” – Darren Mower (Seal ‘n Devices).
